Job Description
Join a high-performing team for an NYC-based custom apparel companyThis is Crishel, the Creative Director at Fresh Prints.I joined Fresh Prints right after college as an Artist. The job was intense. I was creating 16 designs from prompts… Every. Single. Day.I could do it if you asked me to. But more than that, I wanted to understand how creativity could drive impact. I wanted to see how ideas moved beyond a design file and shaped how people experience a brand. When I moved to the Growth Team, everything changed. It wasn’t just about making things look good anymore. It was about thinking like a marketer, contributing to strategy, and understanding how creative work connects to the business. The turning point came when my manager, Jolijt, said: “Okay Crishel, you’re in charge.” After multiple attempts to find the right Creative Director, she decided to take a chance on me. That shift forced me to rethink everything. I had to unlearn habits as a graphic designer and start thinking about vision, systems, and people.Today, creative work means more than aesthetics to me. It’s about how design serves the brand, how it makes people feel, and how it creates real value. Now, we’re looking for creatives who want to do more than execute designs. People who want to think bigger, collaborate deeply, and help build how creative work scales at Fresh Prints. If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!Graphic DesignerA lot of companies treat design like a service desk. Someone on the marketing team has a need, the designer executes it, and the output is fine — functional, forgettable, and utterly unremarkable. That's not us.At Fresh Prints, the Creative team sets the standard for everything our brand touches. We're looking for a Graphic Designer who takes genuine pride in the craft, sweats the details nobody else notices, and cares deeply about what the work actually looks like in the world. This isn't a role where you'll be handed fully-formed briefs and asked to color inside the lines. You'll work directly with our Creative Director and Art Director in a small, fast team where your taste and your output both matter. This role is about:Executing design work across digital and print at a high standard, consistentlyWorking within our brand system and knowing when to push its edgesTurning briefs - sometimes clear, sometimes messy - into assets that look exceptionalMoving quickly without letting quality slipBuilding your craft as part of a team that will push youWhat You'll OwnDesign ExecutionDesign and produce assets across formats: social graphics, paid ads, email headers, web banners, print collateral, sales decks, and one-pagersDeliver production-ready files consistently on brief and on timeMaintain and update brand asset libraries and templatesBrand ConsistencyApply the Fresh Prints brand system with precision Flag when a brief would result in off-brand work and propose alternativesHelp build and refine brand templates that make quality faster and easier for the whole teamCollaboration & CandorWork closely with the Creative Director and Art Director on campaigns and launchesUnderstand the purpose and audience of each assetReceive and respond to creative feedback constructively and quicklyCommunicate clearly about timelines, constraints, and tradeoffsUse your brain and your voice — we expect everyone to think critically about every piece of every campaign and to speak up with passion and vision whenever they believe the work could be betterWho You AreYou have strong design fundamentals. You understand type, hierarchy, color, and layout at a level beyond personal tasteYou understand, respect, and love the customers — you know that your job is to design for them, not design in generalYou're fast and you're consistent. Quality doesn't drop on your tenth asset of the week. You know the difference between "close enough" and "actually good" and you're not okay with close enoughYou have strong, informed opinions and you're not afraid to share them. You take feedback well. You don't confuse feedback on your work with feedback on you.You ask good questions before you start, not after you've built the wrong thingYou’re ambitious and want to earn a spot as an AD or CD one dayRequirements1 to 3 years of professional graphic design experienceStrong Adobe Creative Suite skills — Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign at minimumFigma proficiency for collaborative design and file sharingA portfolio that shows range across formats (digital and print) and demonstrates an eye for craftJob Location: Work From Home / RemoteWorking Hours: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (US Timings), Monday to FridayMonthly Salary: Competitive salary, depending on experienceAt Fresh Prints, we deeply value the long-term contributions of our team.
