You will alsobe responsible forall field service resources and service delivery within the defined areaincluding:installations and implementations, preventative maintenance, all break/fix service activity, and all proactive post sale service activity. This position will have responsibility for the P&L of the Service business with direct revenuein excess of$10M, and costsin excess of$5M.This position reports to the East Service Area Director, is part of North America Commercial Organization (NACO) Field Service team located in North America, covering North Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville) and will be REMOTE.NOTE: MUST BE located in the territory (north of Orlando).In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Regularly visit clients and customers tomaintaincustomer network and develop new relationships for new opportunities in partnering with sales teamlead a team of Field Service Engineers, and Field Service Supervisor,be responsible fortheir training and professional development;establishgoals andobjectives; lead the recruitment process to bring the right candidates to your teamDrive P&L and operational performance around safety, compliance, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, first time fix rate, employee satisfaction, and expense linesWork closely with coordination team tofacilitatedaily activities such as preventative maintenances (PM), modifications (MOD) and balancing daily service-call workloadManage and resolve high-pressure customer issues, including product performance issues and technical escalationsDeliver impact at the NACO level, by leading projects, applying DBS (Danaher Business System) to map improvement plans, drive sustainable and continuous improvementsThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of experience ORMaster Degreewith 7+ years of experience3+ years of experience in people management (direct reports)Working knowledge of Field Customer Support, Service Contracting, and all its related sub fieldsKnowledge of customer relationships and customer satisfaction methodologiesTravel Requirements:This position requires up to 50% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.​It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:Knowledge of the medical diagnostic industry - specifically its trends,pitfallsand challengesKnowledge of diagnostic analyzers – specifications and performance standards and U.S. healthcare legislationAt Beckman CoulterDiagnosticswe believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting.
