Role OverviewWe are seeing a Manager, State Price Transparency Reporting (SPTR) serve as a subject matter expert on state price transparency requirements, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant submission of all reporting obligations across multiple states. This role oversees the preparation, validation, and submission of reports, including monitoring pricing and product-related triggers to meet regulatory deadlines.The position acts as a primary escalation point for complex reporting and regulatory questions, maintains strong client relationships, and provides guidance and support to team members. The Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and accurate reporting while driving process improvements and efficiency through enhanced tracking and automation.This role also supports the Senior Director with strategic initiatives, regulatory updates, and ongoing assessment of compliance risks in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport client projects and engagements related to State Price Transparency Reporting (SPTR), ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client objectivesLead and support pre-commercial engagements, ensuring timely completion of all SPTR pre-launch activities, including evaluation of pricing strategies, establishment of compliance frameworks, and state registration readinessPrepare, review, and validate State Price Transparency reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission across all applicable jurisdictionsMonitor and assess reporting triggers, including WAC increases, new product launches, and product changes, to proactively identify reporting obligationsInterpret and apply complex, non-uniform state regulations, providing guidance to clients and internal teams on reporting requirements and compliance risksServe as a primary escalation point for complex regulatory and reporting issues, ensuring timely resolution and consistent application of requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with Government Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and IT teams to ensure data alignment and accurate reportingDevelop, update, and maintain client policies and procedures to support compliance with state regulations and strengthen governance frameworksDrive process improvements, centralized tracking tools, and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance riskDeliver high-quality client deliverables while effectively managing internal and external expectations, ensuring on-time or ahead-of-schedule deliveryMaintain strong client relationships to support satisfaction, retention, renewals, and identification of additional service opportunitiesCompetencies RequiredBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Public Health, or related field5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, compliance, or regulatory reportingDirect experience with State Price Transparency Reporting (SPTR) requirements preferredStrong understanding of pharmaceutical pricing constructs (e.g., WAC, ASP, discounts, rebates)Ability to interpret and apply complex, non-uniform state regulationsStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and complianceEffective client-facing communication and relationship management skillsProven ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictionsExperience collaborating cross-functionally with Government Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and IT teamsDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficienciesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and mitigate compliance risksLeadership skills with experience mentoring or supporting team membersWorking Conditions/Physical Demands:This position is fully remote, with limited travel that may be required for occasional team meetings, training sessions, or business events. Work is performed primarily in a home-office environment using standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone. Employees are expected to maintain a safe, ergonomic, and confidential workspace with reliable high-speed internet access suitable for professional remote work.The role generally requires extended periods of sitting, viewing a computer screen, and communicating through written and verbal means.
