Description:
The Transportation Department Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) at Fort Sill, managing drivers, safety, training, and vehicle readiness to ensure all missions are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Army regulations and contract requirements. This role includes supervising personnel, coordinating dispatching and maintenance activities, maintaining accurate records, conducting driver evaluations and accident investigations, and working closely with government officials and customers to support timely mission completion. The supervisor is responsible for enforcing safety programs, managing schedules and reports, supporting vehicle maintenance operations, and ensuring high operational standards across all TMP functions.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the Supervisor in charge of Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) Drivers and Driver Training and Safety, ensuring compliance with the established Safety Program and applicable regulations.
* Oversee the safe day\-to\-day operations of the TMP at Fort Sill and within the AR 5\-9 Area of Responsibility.
* Ensure the scheduling, dispatching, vehicle maintenance, and movement of passengers are executed safely and effectively in accordance with Army regulations, contract requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Supervise TMP personnel to ensure all operational, maintenance, and administrative requirements are completed accurately and on time.
* Maintain accurate vehicle, driver qualification, and equipment records, ensuring timely reporting of all TMP activities and reports.
