No surprises, just predictable, reliable vaults.About the RoleGauntlet is seeking an Accountant to support our growing accounting function and help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our financial records.This role will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, audit support, and compliance activities. You will work closely with the Accounting Lead, Onchain Accounting Lead, and Controller while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting and finance functions.This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and building expertise in a high-growth environment.ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & Financial ReportingSupport the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processPrepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedulesPerform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliationsMaintain accurate accounting records and documentationAssist with preparation of monthly financial statement packagesAnalyze account activity and investigate variancesAccounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableManage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing and vendor paymentsManage customer invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable trackingMaintain vendor and customer recordsEnsure transactions are coded accurately and recorded timelyEmployee Expenses & Corporate CardsAdminister Ramp and related spend management platformsReview employee expense reports for policy complianceManage corporate card activity and reconciliationsSupport employee reimbursement processesAudit, Tax & CompliancePrepare audit support schedules and workpapersAssist with annual financial statement auditsSupport tax filings and compliance reporting requirementsMaintain organized accounting documentation and recordsControls & Process ImprovementFollow and uphold established accounting policies and proceduresAssist in maintaining internal controls and documentation standardsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracySupport process automation and systems enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–4 years of accounting experience, including increasing responsibility in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
