Our platform and APIs enable developers to build interactive applications featuring chat, live updates, geolocation, remote control, live events, and collaboration at global scale.Since 2010, PubNub has invested heavily in the infrastructure, reliability, and security required to support mission-critical applications worldwide, delivering enterprise-grade performance along with SOC 2 Type II security and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.About the RolePubNub is looking for an experienced Corporate Counsel focused on technology transactions to partner with our legal team on a B2B contract basis, working remotely from Poland.Working closely with the General Counsel, this engagement will primarily focus on commercial and technology-related contracts, while also contributing across a broad range of legal matters including licensing, privacy, compliance, data security, corporate matters, and international operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a business-oriented attorney who enjoys working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting a fast-growing global technology company.What You’ll DoDraft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, reseller and partnership agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contractsPartner closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Compliance, IT, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadershipSupport legal aspects of product and service evolution, launches, and go-to-market initiativesContribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, templates, and operational workflowsAssist with privacy and regulatory compliance matters, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related frameworksSupport ongoing compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certificationsHelp identify legal and operational risks while providing practical, business-focused guidanceStay informed on evolving legal developments impacting SaaS, technology, AI, privacy, and international business operationsWhat We’re Looking ForLaw degree with strong academic credentialsQualified lawyer and active membership in a recognized bar association8+ years of legal experience in the technology sector, either in-house or at a law firmStrong experience handling technology transactions, SaaS agreements, licensing, and commercial contractsUnderstanding of software products, cloud services, and technology business modelsExcellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workComfortable working independently while collaborating across distributed global teamsTechnologically proficient and interested in leveraging AI-enabled legal and productivity tools responsibly and effectivelyIntellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologiesNice to HaveExperience supporting international technology companiesFamiliarity with security and privacy compliance frameworksExperience supporting sales and procurement negotiationsPrior exposure to startup or high-growth environmentsWhy Join PubNub?At PubNub, you’ll work with talented, collaborative people building technology used by thousands of companies worldwide.
