**Job Type:** Part\-time (15 hours per week) **Pay:** $18\.00 – $25\.00 per hour **Location:** Las Vegas, NV (In\-Person / Non\-Remote) **Schedule:** Flexible 15 hours (e.g., 3 hours a day Monday–Friday, or two full mornings a week) About the Role We are a growing local business looking for an organized, reliable, and sharp **HR \& Operations Coordinator** to take over the day\-to\-day administrative heavy lifting. You will run the entire hiring funnel, manage our team's scheduling, and administer our payroll. Your goal is to handle the operational noise so the business owner only steps in for final interviews and final payment approvals. Key Responsibilities * **Recruitment \& Gatekeeping (60%):** Write and post job ads, filter incoming resumes daily, conduct initial 15\-minute phone screenings, and seamlessly schedule top\-tier talent directly onto the owner's calendar using scheduling links. * **Staff Scheduling \& On\-Call Rotation (20%):** Build and maintain the weekly employee shift schedule using our software. Fairly assign and track the on\-call rotation, managing shift callouts or swap requests. * **Payroll Processing \& Data Entry (10%):** Audit employee timecards for accurate hours, track missed punches, and input weekly hours into our payroll platform for owner review and final funding. * **HR Administration (10%):** Distribute standard templates for offer letters and termination notices. Maintain accurate digital employee files and ensure all new hires sign and acknowledge our Nevada employee handbook. Qualifications \& Requirements * **Location:** Must live in the Las Vegas valley and be able to reliably commute to our office in\-person. * **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, recruiting, office management, or HR support role. * **Tech\-Savvy:** Comfortable navigating digital tools. Experience with small business payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, QuickBooks, ADP) and employee scheduling apps (e.g., Homebase, When I Work, 7shifts) is highly preferred. * **Discretion:** Absolute confidentiality regarding employee personal data, pay rates, and internal files. * **Communication:** Exceptional phone skills and professional email etiquette.
