Bookkeeper/Fractional Controller

**Company Description** Shelly Real Estate Group is a growing real estate organization focused on delivering reliable, data\-driven financial and operational performance across its portfolio. **Role Description** This is a part\-time, remote role for a Bookkeeper / Fractional Controller. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, including recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing regular financial statements for leadership review. The Bookkeeper / Fractional Controller will post journal entries, reconcile bank and credit accounts, and ensure that accounting processes follow established policies and compliance standards. This role will support budgeting and cash flow monitoring, assist with month\-end and year\-end close activities, and provide investor\-ready financial reports and insights to help guide business decisions. **Qualifications** * Candidates should possess strong skills in Bookkeeping and Finance to manage day\-to\-day transactions and support financial planning. * Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements to provide accurate reporting and insights. * Candidates should possess skills in using Accounting Software and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) to ensure efficient and accurate recordkeeping. * Relevant skills such as attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) are beneficial. * Experience in real estate or property management accounting, familiarity with cash and accrual accounting, and prior remote work experience is a MUST. * An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is beneficial.
