Checkout 51, our owned & operated cash back shopping app, along with the deterministic first party data it generates, compliments and powers our programmatic digital media offering and, along with our FSI, we surround and guide shoppers towards purchase in-store or online.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Director, Retail Sales & Strategy, Neptune Retail Solutions will be tasked with growing and expanding the relationship with our regional retail partners. The role offers an exceptional opportunity to build upon existing relationships and expand our partnership across our strategic retail partner utilizing Neptune’s comprehensive portfolio, including In Store Advertising, Digital Incentives, and Digital Media. There is opportunity to “go wider and deeper” within the assigned accounts to uncover net-new opportunities.Responsibilities Include:Strategically build upon current and new relationships to close profitable growth for both Neptune and our Retail Partners. Assumes responsibility for the growth, management, and retention of sales across assigned retail account, and for ensuring performance is aligned with company goals and profitability requirements.Manages relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned Retail accounts.Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how Neptune capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust opportunity pipeline.Drive adoption of Neptune solutions across operating units, by creating client-centric campaigns utilizing the Neptune capabilities and resources to address client needs. The ability to build recommendations based on data, insights, and financial forecasting models is essential.Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management.Requirements:Proven track record of delivering results through the closing of sales in the retail landscape, ideally with or on behalf of CPG’sHas consistently achieved or exceeded profitable sales goals selling business to businessPassionate and driven by new business development and account growth potentialSelf-starter with high-level of personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within fast-paced environmentSuccess in building strong relationships with senior level decision makersHighly analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clientsAbility to confidently communicate and influence internal and external stakeholdersDeep understanding of CPG and retail industryWork Environment:This is a remote-based position.
