This individual will report to a Claims Team Lead and must have strong attention to detail, clerical/administrative experience, and commitment to quality.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state, company and other absence certifications as mandated by state and federal guidelines and in coordination with our customer’s policiesProvide accurate, professional, and timely responses to communications from internal and external partnersContact medical providers to obtain or clarify medical facts supporting the need for a leave of absenceMaintain complete and accurate documentation of leaves within our proprietary databaseCorrespond with clients regarding leave status and assist with decision makingProcess reports for clients and short term disability partnersInput and analyze dataDemonstrate respect, sensitivity, and confidentiality, while maintaining professionalism at all times.Meet and adhere to production and quality goals as well as performance metrics.Responsible and accountable for maintaining and protecting personal, confidential claimant health information. The pay represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
