The Job: We are seeking a talented and seasoned Talent Acquisition Manager to own the full life-cycle recruitment process for Engineering and IT functions within Stanley Black and Decker. Our Talent Acquisition team identifies top talent for positions from inception through to completion. You will collaborate with leadership, hiring managers, and HR colleagues to execute the recruitment strategy, attracting and assessing ideal talent for our organization. We are looking for someone who will seek to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience and will be a trusted partner to our stakeholders.As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll be part of our Corporate team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to: Act as a subject matter expert, provide consultative guidance and advice on recruitment best practices to secure top talent.Act as a trusted strategic advisor to hiring managers by possessing strong business acumen, understanding the talent needs required, and a solid grasp of ideal culture alignment.Create unique and robust search strategies that will identify and deliver the right talent for the right roles at the right time.Source, screen, and manage candidates through the interview process by providing an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from the engagement stage to offer.Offer alternative sourcing strategies and educate key stakeholders on market dynamics.Negotiate complex offers for selected finalists by leveraging your experience of competing for top technical talent.Meet or exceed goals and metrics by being an example of top performanceThe Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You also have: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.7+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on Engineering and IT.Proven track record of successfully filling mid-to-senior level roles specific to Embedded Systems, Firmware, Hardware, #3D Modeling and/or Electrical Engineering. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Maintain candidate pipelines for niche technical skill areas.Experience in technical recruiting, preferably in engineering or electronics domains.Understanding of power electronics skill sets and terminology.Ability to recruit for specialized roles such as: Motor Control EngineerEmbedded Systems EngineerHardware Design EngineerBattery Management Systems EngineerApplications EngineerPower Electronics EngineerExperience recruiting in industrial, automotive, renewable energy, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with technical areas such as:InvertersAC/DC and DC/DC convertersIGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC, GaNMagnetics and transformersControl algorithmsPCB and hardware designEnergy storage systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
