Client Accounting Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing accurate financial records, maintaining clean balance sheets, and delivering financial statements that are fully prepared for tax return preparation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and understands that accuracy matters. We are looking for someone who can identify discrepancies, solve problems, and ensure clients’ books are maintained at the highest professional standards. **What Success Looks Like** The successful candidate will: Maintain accurate and reconciled balance sheets for multiple clients Produce complete and accurate monthly financial statements Deliver financial reports that are tax\-return ready with minimal adjustments Identify bookkeeping errors, misclassifications, and unreconciled accounts Maintain detailed workpapers and supporting documentation Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping and financial matters Assist accounting and tax teams during busy season as needed **Responsibilities** Full\-cycle bookkeeping for multiple business clients Bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations Preparation and review of monthly financial statements General ledger maintenance and account analysis Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Payroll processing and payroll tax reporting Sales tax reporting and filings Journal entries and adjusting entries Financial statement review and cleanup projects Client communication and relationship management Assist with year\-end closing procedures and tax preparation support **Required Qualifications** 3\+ years of bookkeeping experience Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Enterprise Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience reconciling complex balance sheet accounts Ability to prepare accurate Profit \& Loss Statements and Balance Sheets Payroll processing experience Sales tax reporting experience Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy **Highly Preferred** Public accounting or CPA firm experience Experience supporting tax return preparation Advanced understanding of balance sheet reconciliations Ability to analyze financial reports and identify errors Experience cleaning up bookkeeping files Multi\-client bookkeeping experience **Who Will Thrive Here** We are looking for a true team player who: Is extremely detail\-oriented Takes ownership of their w
