About the role:The Consultant Strategy & Relations (CSR) Director will play a key role in strengthening Included Health’s relationships with the broker and consulting community and increasing market preference for our solutions.This role will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with influential consultants across national and regional firms in the territory. The ideal candidate will bring existing relationships and credibility within the consultant ecosystem and be able to leverage those connections to increase awareness and advocacy for Included Health.The role partners closely with Sales and Client Success to support pipeline development, active sales opportunities, and strategic renewals, while also serving as a key conduit for consultant insights that help shape our market positioning and improve win rates.Responsibilities:Consultant Relationship DevelopmentBuild and maintain trusted relationships with influential consultants across assigned territories and firmsProactively expand networks by developing new relationships with senior consultants and industry leadersServe as a primary relationship manager for consulting partners, including establishing partnership agreements with national consulting firms.Pipeline Development & Sales PartnershipPartner with Sales Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) on coordinated territory strategies that leverage consultant relationshipsIdentify priority consultants connected to key prospects and facilitate introductions to drive opportunity developmentSupport active opportunities by providing insights on consultant dynamics, positioning, and messaging that can improve win rateArticulate Included Health’s value proposition and differentiated capabilities with consultant and broker partnersMarket Education & Thought LeadershipEducate the consultant community on Included Health’s products, solutions, and strategic vision, including exclusive previews prior to launching new productsFacilitate meetings and engagements with consultants to deepen understanding of Included Health’s offerings, and ultimately strengthen market positioningPartner with Sales and Marketing to deliver targeted messaging and consultant awareness initiativesClient Success & Renewal SupportPartner with Client Success teams on strategic accounts where consultant relationships are critical to renewals or upsell opportunitiesServe as a strategic advisor on consultant engagement strategies for priority clientsHelp proactively address consultant concerns and influence outcomes in complex renewals or auditsMarket Intelligence & InsightsMonitor consultant perspectives, industry trends, and emerging priorities across broker and consulting firmsShare actionable insights with Sales, Client Success, and cross-functional partners to inform strategy and market positioningCapture and analyze feedback from consultants to inform messaging, product packaging, and future roadmap considerationsQualifications:10+ years of client-facing experience in health and benefitsExperience at a consulting or brokerage firmExperience and/or interest in consultative salesExperience in a high growth, fast changing environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audienceStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to travel up to 2x per month Bachelors degree requiredThe United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are $170,000 - $228,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
