We’re looking for an analytical and entrepreneurial Senior Strategic Finance Analyst to join our quickly growing team to drive meaningful impact across the company. You will drive financial analyses, build and own reports/KPIs, and model business outcomes to provide visibility into the company’s operations and inform strategic decision-making in the Revenue org and across the company. You will report to the Director, Strategic Finance, and get significant exposure to the CFO as well as other leaders across the org. What you’ll do:Build driver-based financial models and scenario analyses that support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range strategic decision makingOwn and maintain Muck Rack’s financial planning infrastructure in Pigment, ensuring models are reliable, well-documented, and connected to accurate source dataServe as the primary finance partner for non-headcount expense management across the company, helping business leaders track spend against plan and proactively identify risks and opportunitiesAnalyze performance across key business functions and prepare executive-ready insights to support monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviewsImprove and automate KPI reporting using tools such as Equals, Google Sheets, and Looker to reduce manual work and increase leadership visibility into business performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with the GTM, Engineering, Analytics and Finance teams to define metrics, build business cases, and evaluate the impact of strategic initiativesPerform ad hoc analysis to support company growth and efficiency initiatives using internal data sources and external benchmarksContinuously improve finance tooling and workflows by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and leverage new technologiesIf the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role:3–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related finance roleStrong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsExperience managing budgeting or expense tracking for business functions or departmentsHands-on experience with financial planning platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar toolsExperience working in SaaS, technology, or other high-growth business environmentsStrong understanding of SaaS and GTM metrics such as ARR, NRR, bookings vs. revenue, churn, and funnel conversionExperience working with operational data sources such as Salesforce, Looker, or NetSuite; SQL familiarity is a plusAbility to translate complex financial analysis into clear narratives for executives and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting financial insights to leadershipCuriosity, ownership mentality, and a willingness to dig into data to uncover the “why” behind performanceComfort operating in ambiguity and improving processes in evolving environmentsInterest in leveraging technology and automation to improve financial workflows and reportingProactively incorporate AI tools into day to day work to improve productively and accelerate deliveryInterview Overview Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for this role.
