Business Analyst

We're looking for a Business Analyst to bridge clinical operations, product, and engineering on a VA clinical decision support platform, translating complex healthcare workflows into clear specifications that help the team build interoperable tools clinicians actually use.What you'll be doing:Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements from clinical and operational stakeholdersWrite detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams for engineeringSupport FHIR-based data mapping efforts, including working with clinical terminologiesServe as a liaison between clinical SMEs, product managers, and development teams throughout deliveryAssist with UAT planning and execution, coordinating with clinical end users to validate system behaviorAnalyze alert performance data and identify patterns contributing to alert fatigue or low adoptionMaintain requirements traceability matrices and documentation repositoriesWhat you’ll bring:3+ years of BA or business systems analyst experience, ideally in health ITFamiliarity with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standardsProficiency in writing user stories and process flow documentationExperience facilitating requirements sessions with clinical or technical stakeholdersExperience with EHR platforms such as Epic or Cerner/Oracle Health is a plusExposure to CDS Hooks or clinical decision support logic is a plusThrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional teamCommunicates clearly and openly, whether writing technical documentation or coordinating with clinical stakeholdersPerforms other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
