IME Report Transcriptionist

**Position Summary** The Transcriptionist’s primary responsibility is to efficiently and accurately perform transcription of independent medical examination reports as dictated by numerous physicians contracted to work with Woodlake Medical. **Key Duties and Responsibilities** · Accurately type physician dictation of independent medical examination reports · Prioritize workload to meet specific deadlines · Maintain confidentiality of claimant information in accordance with established laws and regulations **Position Requirements** The person we need to fill this position should have a genuine commitment to quality work, in addition to possessing: · Minimum two (2\) years recent medical transcriptionist experience · Knowledge of medical terminology · Ability to accurately type 60\+ WPM and operate a foot pedal · Ability to perform eyesight transcription in order to format documents as necessary · Knowledge of proper application of grammar · Previous experience and proficiency using Microsoft Word and Adobe · Formatting experience · The ability to write, read, and comprehend English · The ability to work independently with a high level of accountability **Working Conditions/Physical Demands** · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of their fingers for data entry on a keyboard and to transcribe from sound · Home office environment **Technical Requirements for Working Remotely** · Ethernet connection is required.
