Accountant/Bookkeeper

**Job Summary** CFGoal Inc. is a growing accounting services firm dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services to our clients. We are looking for a reliable, detail oriented Staff Accountant to work directly on client engagements, managing the books for a portfolio of clients at once. This is a mid level, remote role open to full time or part time, well suited for someone who is organized, client savvy, and comfortable shifting between multiple client accounts while keeping the same high standard of accuracy and service for each. **Duties** * Handle day to day bookkeeping and general ledger accounting across multiple clients * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment tracking * Record and reconcile payroll entries in the general ledger across client accounts * Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to clients * Perform month end and year end close processes across multiple clients on different schedules and on time * Work with third party platforms such as Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, and Gusto to manage client transactions * Communicate proactively with clients and third parties to keep open items moving **Skills** * 3 or more years of accounting experience in a client facing role * QuickBooks proficiency required. NetSuite or Xero experience a plus * Solid grasp of GAAP and core accounting principles * Strong reconciliation skills and a sharp eye for detail * Able to manage multiple clients or workstreams simultaneously * Clear communicator, written and verbal, with a genuine client service orientation * Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and online accounting tools * Self directed and dependable in a remote work environment * High integrity and discretion with confidential financial information * Bookkeeping certification (CB, CPB, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor), familiarity with payroll processing, sales tax, or revenue recognition are all a plus **Why CFGoal** At CFGoal Inc., culture is something we actively invest in every day.
