About Us Trellis (https://trellis.law/) is the largest legal research platform for state trial courts, with coverage spanning thousands of courts and millions of cases across the U.S. We aggregate and structure trial court filings, rulings, motions, and outcomes into a unified, searchable platform, combining large-scale data infrastructure with AI-powered analysis to extract, organize, and surface insights across that data. This makes large-scale trial court research possible for the first time.Our tools enable attorneys to analyze judge tendencies, evaluate opposing counsel, find and assess expert witnesses, and see which arguments and strategies have succeeded in similar cases, so they can assess risk earlier, save time on research, and develop more effective, data-backed case strategies.We’re revolutionizing the way legal professionals access and use trial court data to make informed decisions. As we scale, we’re looking for a thoughtful and execution-focused Product Designer to help shape the future of our product experience.The RoleAs a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in designing intuitive, scalable experiences for our enterprise SaaS platform. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deeply understand user needs and translate them into elegant, user-centered solutions.What You'll Do: Design end-to-end product experiences, from discovery through delivery and iterationCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for complex workflowsConduct user research, usability testing, and user interviews to inform design decisionsPartner with Product Managers to define problems, validate solutions, and prioritize workCollaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of designsWork with Marketing to ensure consistency across product and brand touchpointsContribute to and evolve our design system and UX standardsUse data and user feedback to continuously improve the user experienceWho You Are: 2+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise SaaSStrong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work and problem-solving processExperience designing complex platforms, dashboards, or workflow-heavy applicationsHands-on experience conducting user research and user interviewsProficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teamsAbility to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsComfort working in a fast-paced, iterative startup environmentNice to haves: Experience in legal tech, fintech, or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with data-heavy interfaces or analytics toolsExperience building or contributing to design systemsExposure to growth or conversion-focused design workBenefits: Equity in a company with huge upside.
