Part Time Accounting Manager

Small federal govt contractor in search of a qualified accounting professional to handle the day to day requirements of a small department. Retired accountant or experienced bookkeeper with Deltek GCS Premier experience highly desired. Position would entail 12\-15 hours of work per week, two mornings (4 hours each morning) in office and one day working remote, performing all accounting tasks required of a small Government Contractor. **Must have 3\-5 years previous hands\-on experience with Deltek GCS Premier software, to include ability to record all module transactions and work with off\-site Deltek IT support company to resolve any software issues that may arise in the processing of monthly and annual financial reporting.** The following list describes the primary tasks required of the individual in this position: Monthly Closing process/Review Ad hoc reports (Deltek Impromptu) AP and Cash Flow reports weekly Verify Revenue and Profitability Annual Budget preparation and monthly review Enter and maintain budget data in GCS Premier Prepare monthly financial package for Management review Reconcile Bank Accounts Maintain Contract master files (CMF, CWF, T\&M rates etc) Post all Journals as needed monthly Maintain daily cash requirements report Maintain General Ledger subsidiary ledgers (Excel) Enter/Edit Vendor invoices into Deltek GCS Process Cash Disbursements of Accounts Payables/EFT Process Accrue Vacation in GCS and upload into Time \& Expense Reconcile 941 reports to Deltek Labor Quarterly Reconcile Customer Invoice against employee hours Enter all Cash Receipts in Deltek GCS Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $70\.00 \- $80\.00 per hour Expected hours: 12\.0 – 15\.0 per week Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * Deltek GCS Premiere: 4 years (Required) Location: * Fairfax, VA (Preferred) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fairfax, VA
