Additionally, we’re backed by some of the most revered investors in the consumer goods space.We’re a lean team that’s expanding quickly, and we’re looking for someone who believes in our vision to shift the way people experience scents.The Role:Snif is looking for a Director of Social Media to define, grow, and lead our multi-channel social presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and supplemental platforms. This role owns how Snif shows up on social media - from strategy and storytelling to execution and cultural relevance.As social is often a customer’s first touchpoint with Snif, it’s critical that our presence sets the tone and reflects our core brand values while pushing boundaries to deliver engaging, standout content. You’ll set the vision, develop a compelling and distinctive content strategy, and continuously evolve our platform approach to make Snif impossible to ignore in-feed. Social at Snif isn’t just about posting or conversion - it’s a creative engine that translates the brand’s personality, educates our audience, and drives awareness.This is a high-visibility role for a confident leader who is imaginative, culturally fluent, organized, and analytically sharp. You will manage a mix of full-time and contract team members to execute content creation, community engagement, reporting, and more. This role reports directly to the Chief Brand Officer and partners closely with Creative, Marketing, Sales, and CX teams.What You'll Do:Social Strategy & Creative Development:Define and own Snif’s social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms for both Snif and cologne sub-brand NotewrksEstablish content pillars, creative frameworks, channel-specific tactics, and posting cadenceLead ideation and planning for our social calendar, balancing company-wide objectives with content that is fun, witty, educational, and culturally relevantAct as Snif’s cultural filter - spotting trends early and deciding what’s worth engaging with (and what’s not)Structure & Team Management:Manage and grow Snif’s in-house and contract social teamsSet clear roles, workflows, and standards to drive consistency and qualityFoster a culture of creativity, experimentation, accountability, and speedBe hands-on when needed while maintaining a strategic, big-picture viewChannel Planning, Execution & Engagement:Own Snif’s social platforms end-to-end, including publishing, optimization, and performanceBuild scalable systems for content ideation, production, posting, and reportingEvaluate and manage social tools, digital platforms, and third-party vendorsEnsure external partners support speed and scale without diluting brand voice or qualityCross-Functional Leadership:Serve as the social expert and point of view internallyPartner closely with Creative, Marketing, CX, and Operations teams to create cohesion and deliver a seamless experiencePartner with Retail and Sales team to develop compelling content that drives in-store engagement and conversionDevelop agile processes for real-time moments, cultural reactions, and risk managementAnalytics, Insights & Optimization:Build and own a strong analytics and insights discipline across platformsUse performance data and cultural insights to guide creative decisions and prioritizationMaintain clear reporting dashboards for leadership visibilityContinuously test, learn, and optimize creative, cadence, and platform strategyWhat You'll Bring:8+ years of experience leading social strategy, content, digital storytelling and community engagementProven success building or reinventing social for disruptive creative lead brandsExperience growing and managing social teams in fast-paced environmentsDeep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms - including algorithms, formats, and cultural nuanceProficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar) for collaboration, documentation, and reportingThe ability to write with wit, charm, and personality - knowing when to be funny, when to be smart, and when to keep it simpleExperience with productivity and kn
