About the RoleThe Workday Integrations, Senior Manager, should be a “go to” practice leader that provides expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Global Delivery Center leadership team and its subsequent team members. In this role you will work directly with the Director on resourcing and internal contribution assignments to maintain the highest percentages of both billable and productive utilization as possible. This will be accomplished by effective and efficient project forecast reporting and monitoring. You will work closely with engagement and project managers in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring that the work/life balance of our consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipAssist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting INT applicationsOversee (GDC APAC, EMEA and NA) team workload and serves as an escalation path for urgent or high priority issues and major requestsManage team utilization to targetsManage day-to-day team operations in identifying and establishing processes, standards, and key metricsBuild and consolidate internal training materials and/or create pack for new functionality deployment & offering for client and internal teamStreamline processes between regions and work effectively with team members, Service Delivery Managers, Engagement Managers and Client Partners to support client satisfaction and success.Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and associates.ProjectIndependently manage work on multiple projects in various phasesLeverage expertise to make recommendations and develop solution based on the clients’ requirements, budget, and time-frameGuide clients through facilitated design sessions based on best practices and an understanding of the customers’ unique business requirementsCoordinate with project teams to align development with client design decisions.Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.Provide status updates to the client, project team, and management on a regular basis.Willingness to take a leadership position on a project or as a Workday Product Lead.Display hands-on expertise of the software, including building complex configurations, moving configuration from tenant to tenant and providing guidance to project team on requirements.Skills and Experience:7+ years of Workday implementation experience Must have active Workday Certification – IntegrationsAdditional Certifications (Preferred) - Workday Studio, CCTPP, CCB, HCM, FinancialsProven experience leading a teamAbility to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneouslyAbility to identify and analyze areas of risk and develops plans to minimize.Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectationsAbility to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environmentsMust work well within and across teams to get things accomplishedWhy choose Cognizant:Entrepreneurial environment that welcomes your ideasOpportunity to do great workOutreach programs that support communities and tap into your volunteer spiritLearning opportunities to help current needs and advancementGlobal operations, with opportunities in North America, Europe and Asia PacificAn abundance of Affinity groups to meet your needsCognizant Core Values:Work as One: We think beyond roles, relying on each other’s strengths to win as a team.Raise the Bar: We always aim for excellence in how we work and what we deliver.Dare to Innovate: We push boundaries and take chances to reimagine what’s possible.Do the Right Thing: We all lead with integrity and always make the ethical choice.Own It: We own the outcomes for our company, colleagues, and community.Originally posted on Himalayas
