Job Description

As Vice President, Global Sales you will report to the President & CEO. You will be responsible for leading new business development and sales activities with the global public sector. The primary responsibility is to lead and direct a distributed sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives. You will be expected to design, implement, and manage a strategic sales plan that expands the FreeBalance footprint in the global Public Financial Management (PFM) advisory, training and solutions market. Main Responsibilities:Grow and mentor sales team globallyReach global sales quotas by successfully managing the sales process from plan to closeCoordinate sales activities and strategic initiatives with sales teamsDeliver compelling, customer-centric presentations and proposals to prospects and customersPresent sales and revenue reports and accurate forecasts to the management teamBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding country contextManage sales pipelines of new opportunities using customer relationship management tool Oversee all proposals/tenders and negotiations within FreeBalance’s pricing guidelinesMaintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, and partners Attend trade shows or conferences as neededTravel internationally on regular basis Other duties as assignedQualifications:University degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related fieldMBA considered an asset10 plus years experience successfully selling advisory services and solutions internationallyExtensive sales, sales management, and sales leadership experience with global public sectorAbility to communicate clearly at senior level meetings with government officials Strong analytical and organizational skillsDemonstrated background of creative problem solvingStrong personnel development and management skills (mentoring)Ability to work under deadlines and adaptability to changing client and market demandsUnderstanding of budgeting and P&L responsibilitiesSales training experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English Other languages are considered an assetWe thank all applicants for their interest.
