The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior PR Manager, Labor Relations for Deere & Co World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, Des Moines, IA, Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI or Waterloo, IA, you will:Align labor communication and PR goals by executing a robust earned, owned, paid and strategic PR strategy to strengthen brand favorability with key audiences — while also protecting the company’s brand and reputation before during and after union negotiations or any workforce related issuesVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You NeedDeep understanding of employee/union dynamics, gained through 10+ years in PR/Human Resources/Labor Relations, focusing on contract negotiation support and managing reputational risks related to workforce issues Experience in crisis communication, media relations (especially handling sensitive topics) and strategic messagingExperience working closely as a trusted expert with senior leaders to identify needs, define strategy, develop action plans, identify deliverables, present results and measure outcomesWillingness and ability to travel up to 25% What Makes You Stand OutExisting media relationshipsExperience managing an agency partner, leading content development/execution Experience with social or digital mediaExperience in a manufacturing environmentMaster's Degree or MBAEducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Human Resources, Business or related field.
