Accounting Associate / Bookkeeper

**Basta \& Company \| Remote \| W\-2** We’re looking for an early\-career accounting professional who is **curious, tech\-savvy, and likes figuring things out.** You don't need years of experience. We can train you on our systems and tools. **What we're looking for** * 1–2 years of QuickBooks Online/bookkeeping experience * Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements * Comfortable learning new technology quickly * Interested in AI, automation, and modern accounting tools * Self\-starter who researches and tries to solve problems independently * Good communicator who can eventually help clients with basic questions * Organized, dependable, and willing to take ownership * Most importantly: **a “figure it out” mindset** **What you'll learn** You'll work with our team on bookkeeping, reconciliations, month\-end close, financial reporting, and client support. You'll also learn how we use **AI and automation** to make accounting faster and smarter.
