Remote LTC Pharmacy Billing Specialist (FrameworkLTC experience required)

Our pharmacy is currently hiring a Pharmacy Billing Specialist. The responsibilities of this position include: * Data entry of new patient information and perform daily maintenance of patient records * Prescription claim processing, adjudication, and resolving rejected claims * Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third\-party billing processes * Initiate prior authorizations and follow up with nursing facilities * Completion of daily census from nursing facilities including: admissions, discharges, and insurance changes on resident profiles * Contacting admission directors at the nursing facilities and alerting pharmacy staff about potential admissions/readmissions * Follow state and federal laws related to the practice of pharmacy If you have experience as a retail pharmacy technician looking for a change to a closed door setting, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
