**Remote Bookkeeper — Small, Growing Firm** Tidwell Bookkeeping is hiring a remote bookkeeper to own the books for a portfolio of small\-business clients. We’re a small, close\-knit firm that values clean books, clear communication, and people who take real ownership of their work. **Compensation:** $20–$30 per hour\- based on experience **Schedule:** Full\-time, with substantial overlap with Pacific Time business hours **Location:** Fully remote within the United States **What you’ll do** * Manage full\-cycle bookkeeping for assigned clients in QuickBooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online * Perform bank and credit\-card reconciliations and own month\-end close * Handle AP/AR and support payroll * Communicate proactively with clients and our internal team * Use QuickBooks Online’s automation features to work efficiently and accurately **What we’re looking for** * 3\+ years of hands\-on bookkeeping experience * Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency (required) * Solid grasp of double\-entry bookkeeping fundamentals * Self\-managed, accurate, and reliable in a remote setting * Private, secure home\-office setup with reliable internet * Bonus: QBO ProAdvisor certification, multi\-client experience, payroll software **Our hiring process** We use skills\-based assessments so every candidate gets a fair shot.
