This role is responsible not only for executing key processes such as sales compensation and analytics, but also for identifying opportunities to improve, automate, and scale those processes.This individual will leverage data, systems, and analytical thinking to drive accuracy, efficiency, and insight across sales operations. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to process redesign, automation initiatives, and broader operational analysis, while developing deep expertise in sales compensation and the K–8 educational industry.The impact you'll have:Calculate and manage sales commissions and incentive-based compensation, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecastingOwn and continuously improve key processes related to sales compensation, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutionsBuild, maintain, and enhance analytics and reporting to support decision-making across Sales and Service organizationsPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Business Systems to ensure accurate data flows and alignment across systemsSupport automation and process improvement initiatives, including leveraging tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and BI platformsPerform rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of calculations, reports, and systemsProvide insights and recommendations through analysis of sales performance, compensation outcomes, and operational trendsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and compensation plansWho we're looking for:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and financial modelsDemonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendationsAdvanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Alteryx, or similar data/automation tools strongly preferredExperience with BI tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) preferredHigh attention to detail with a strong track record of accuracy and data validationAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functionsContinuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization and automationRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required3–5 years of experience in sales operations, finance, commissions, or related analytical rolesExperience working with sales compensation processes, financial analysis, or operational analytics preferredPay Range: This role’s range is $69,250-$118,250.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan.
