We specialize in providing battery\-powered beach wheelchairs to individuals with limited mobility, operating along the East Coast from New Jersey to Florida. Our mission is to help people enjoy the beach without barriers. We’re currently hiring a Remote Customer Service Representative to support our growing operation in a part\-time, contract\-based role. **Position Overview** We’re looking for a reliable and personable individual living in Maryland to join our remote customer service team. This is a 1099 contract position that offers flexible scheduling, weekend availability, and the potential to evolve into a full\-time role. You’ll be supporting customers and coordinating logistics with our drivers throughout our service areas. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle incoming phone calls, online chats, and emails from customers in a friendly and professional manner * Help customers place new rental orders or update existing reservations * Communicate with delivery drivers across multiple states to coordinate drop\-offs and pick\-ups * Address customer questions and concerns with patience and problem\-solving skills * Work flexible hours, including some weekends * Utilize web\-based systems to manage orders, track updates, and record notes **What You’ll Bring** * At least one year of experience in customer service or administrative support * Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone demeanor * Self\-starter mentality with the ability to stay focused and productive while working remotely * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and dependability * Comfortable using digital tools such as email, forms, and mobile apps * Residency in Maryland and a stable internet connection * Bonus points for experience working remotely or as a 1099 contractor **Additional Information** * This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours * Work volume may increase during peak seasons (spring/summer) * Potential for future transition to full\-time W\-2 employment, depending on performance and company needs **Why Join Our Team?** At Sand Helper, your work directly contributes to improving quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges.
