Our mission is to help people enjoy the beach without barriers. We’re currently hiring a Remote Customer Service Representative to support our growing operation in a part\-time, contract\-based role. **Position Overview** We’re looking for a reliable and personable individual living in Maryland to join our remote customer service team. This is a 1099 contract position that offers flexible scheduling, weekend availability, and the potential to evolve into a full\-time role. You’ll be supporting customers and coordinating logistics with our drivers throughout our service areas. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle incoming phone calls, online chats, and emails from customers in a friendly and professional manner * Help customers place new rental orders or update existing reservations * Communicate with delivery drivers across multiple states to coordinate drop\-offs and pick\-ups * Address customer questions and concerns with patience and problem\-solving skills * Work flexible hours, including some weekends * Utilize web\-based systems to manage orders, track updates, and record notes **What You’ll Bring** * At least one year of experience in customer service or administrative support * Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone demeanor * Self\-starter mentality with the ability to stay focused and productive while working remotely * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and dependability * Comfortable using digital tools such as email, forms, and mobile apps * Residency in Maryland and a stable internet connection * Bonus points for experience working remotely or as a 1099 contractor **Additional Information** * This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours * Work volume may increase during peak seasons (spring/summer) * Potential for future transition to full\-time W\-2 employment, depending on performance and company needs **Why Join Our Team?** At Sand Helper, your work directly contributes to improving quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges.
