We’re seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead and contribute to the design, analysis, detailing, and quality assurance of diverse building projects. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across the full project lifecycle and excels at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural designs meet quality standards, applicable codes, and client expectations. This is a US based remote position. Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 annually Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.Lead the structural design, analysis, and modeling of building systems using industry-standard software and toolsDevelop and review structural systems including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framingServe as Engineer of Record, preparing, reviewing, and sealing construction documents as requiredProvide senior-level technical oversight and quality assurance for structural calculations, drawings, and specificationsPerform and oversee field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as neededMaintain and foster relationships with existing clients, ensuring all project requirements, schedules, and deliverables are metCollaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to ensure structural feasibility, constructability, and compliance with building codes and regulatory requirementsMentor, train, and foster the professional growth of junior engineers and design staffSupport proposal development, scope definition, and technical reviews as neededMinimum Qualifications:To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) License (any state)Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design for building projectsProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)Advanced knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction methodsThorough understanding of applicable building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, etc.)Demonstrated ability to lead projects and provide technical directionExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound engineering judgmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactionAdditional Qualifying Factors:As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.Necessary Physical Requirements:The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
