The Senior Manager, Product Portfolio & Brand is responsible for the long-term health, growth, and profitability of the Mitra9 product portfolio. This role serves as the strategic bridge between Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, R&D/QA, and Supply Chain, ensuring the company is building the right products for the right consumers, through the right channels, at the right margins.This position owns the product portfolio strategy, innovation pipeline development, consumer insights, sourcing optimization, product lifecycle management, and portfolio profitability. The Senior Manager will partner cross-functionally to identify future growth opportunities, improve existing portfolio performance, support operational efficiency, and ensure every product supports Mitra9's long-term business objectives.The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, consumer understanding, portfolio management experience, and sourcing expertise with the ability to influence decisions across multiple departments. What you'll doProduct Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle ManagementOwn the overall health and performance of the Mitra9 product portfolioConduct ongoing portfolio reviews focused on revenue, profitability, inventory performance, consumer demand, and strategic fitLead SKU rationalization efforts and recommend additions, modifications, or discontinuationsDevelop channel-specific assortment strategies and product configurationsMaintain product lifecycle plans from concept through end-of-lifePartner with Finance to evaluate product-level performance and profitability opportunitiesInnovation & Future GrowthDevelop and maintain Mitra9's innovation pipeline and future product roadmapIdentifyemerging consumer trends, category opportunities, and whitespace opportunitiesConduct competitive analysis and market intelligence reviewsBuild product business cases and growth recommendations for future innovation initiativesPartner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and R&D/QA to evaluate new products, formats, flavors, packaging, and channel opportunitiesTranslate consumer insights into actionable growth opportunitiesConsumer Insights & Brand StewardshipServe as the voice of the consumer throughout product portfolio decision-makingAnalyze customer reviews, surveys, purchase behavior, subscription trends, and market feedbackDevelop recommendations around product positioning, packaging strategy, and consumer communicationEnsure products align with overall brand strategy and consumer expectationsSupport brand architecture and portfolio expansion decisionsPartner with Marketing to ensure portfolio strategy is reflected in go-to-market executionStrategic Sourcing & Supplier OptimizationIdentifyopportunities to improve margins through supplier, packaging, ingredient, and manufacturing optimizationSupport supplier evaluations, negotiations, and sourcing initiativesDevelop business cases for sourcing improvements and cost-saving opportunitiesEvaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements to cost, service, quality, and lead timesPartner with Operations toidentifyopportunities for supply chain efficiency and working capital improvementsMonitor industry trends and supplier markets to proactivelyidentifyopportunities and risksOperations & Supply Planning SupportPartner with Operations to support forecasting, inventory planning, and new product introductionsParticipate in S&OP planning and portfolio decision-makingEvaluate inventory risks associated with product launches, transitions, and portfolio changesSupport commercialization readiness for new products and major product updatesAssistinidentifyingopportunities to improve inventory turns and reduce obsolete inventoryEnsure portfolio decisions align with operational capabilities and scalability requirementsCross-Functional LeadershipServe as the central coordinator between Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, R&D/QA, and Supply Chain for portfolio-related initiativesLead cross-functional discussionsregardingportfolio performance, innovation opportunities, sourcing initiatives, and product lifecycle decisionsEstablish reporting and review processes that improve visibility into portfolio performanceDrive alignment between commercialobjectivesand operational executionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Merchandising, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in portfolio management, product management, merchandising, category management, commercialization, sourcing, or related business functionsStrong understanding of product lifecycle management, portfolio strategy, and consumer insightsExperience evaluating product profitability, margins, pricing, and business performanceExperience working with suppliers, manufacturers, packaging vendors, or sourcing partnersDemons
