BOOKKEEPER WITH PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE

We've been providing tax preparation accounting, and related services to businesses and individuals for over 50 years. WORK AT HOME: This is a fully remote position, home office required, with discipline necessary to work at home. We provide equipment as needed. The Firm has been virtual and paperless since 2006\-remote work has been part of our firm and client culture for a long time. **PRIMARY DUTIES:** * Computerized bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, G/L accounting * Payroll support * General support role for owner and staff **SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:** * Must have experience working independently, either for a public firm or in your own practice with the ability to make decisions. * Experienced in a paperless environment, with high degree of computer/tech skills * Highly organized, able to multi\-task in a fast paced environment * Solid e\-mail and related communication skills WORK/LIFE BALANCE: Tax Season hours required from January to mid\-April. Reduced hours during the remainder of the year. Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required) * Quickbooks or MYOB: 5 years (Required) Location: * New York, NY (Preferred) Work Location: Remote
