The Director, Product Management will lead product strategy and delivery for Hollander’s salvage-industry solutions with two simultaneous imperatives:Sustain and continuously improve the legacy products that run customer businesses today, protecting revenue and service continuity.Define and execute a single modern global platform to replace multiple aging, at-risk systems across North America and International markets.Business & Product ContextThe salvage industry centers on end-of-life and accident vehicles: businesses acquire vehicles, extract usable parts (engine, body panels, mirrors, etc.), and resell through local dealer networks and e-commerce channels.Key ResponsibilitiesPLATFORM VISION & TRANSFORMATIONDefine product vision, target architecture outcomes, and a phased delivery roadmap for a single global platform replacement.Champion a “single global product, locally adapted” approach: ensure the platform supports localization (taxes, currencies, time zones, language, region-specific rules) without losing core coherence.Partner with Engineering and Data leaders on architecture trade-offs; maintain conceptual fluency in APIs, integrations, and data flows to drive productive technical conversations without acting as solution architect.RUN & TRANSFORM (“TWO-SPEED” PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT)Own the full product portfolio simultaneously: protect and enhance current legacy products while building the next-generation global platform in parallel.Define clear prioritization frameworks that balance sustaining existing revenue-generating products with investing in the strategic transformation program.Manage scope, sequencing, and customer migration planning — from legacy systems to the new platform — with minimal disruption to active customer operations.INTEGRATION & WORKFLOW LEADERSHIPLead integration strategy and execution with third-party partners through platforms and APIs; own requirements and dependencies end-to-end.Drive product requirements for workflow-heavy, integration-intensive environments; ensure data flows and partner dependencies are clearly defined for cross-functional teams.PRODUCT DELIVERY & STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENTCreate crisp, well-reasoned product requirements and priorities; ensure Engineering and Design teams have what they need to execute with confidence.Lead complex multi-geography delivery with clear decision frameworks for standardization vs. localization trade-offs.Define success metrics, launch measures, and migration KPIs; track and analyze product performance data to drive evidence-based decisions.Partner with Product Marketing to develop sales enablement, customer onboarding, and go-to-market assets for both existing products and new capabilities.TEAM & ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIPLead a small, distributed, cross-geo team.Provide strategic direction, clear prioritization, and stakeholder alignment under ambiguous, rapidly evolving organizational conditions.Mentor and develop product managers and owners; set goals, provide coaching, and foster a results-oriented team culture.Engage with partnership and acquisition opportunities that can accelerate market positioning.Capability ProfileThe following table summarizes the key capabilities assessed in this search, aligned with the hiring manager’s requirements:Capability AreaWhat We're Looking ForTransformation & Platform ModernizationProven experience driving complex platform transformation while sustaining legacy products (“run and transform”).
