Part-Time Assistant for Food Brand

**Join A Growing Food Company as a Shipping and Administrative Assistant!** We’re a women\-owned, award\-winning food company based in Highland Park, making small\-batch roasted nuts inspired by our family recipes. We’re looking for a Part\-Time Shipping \& Administrative Assistant to help keep our day\-to\-day operations running smoothly. **Why Join Us?** * Flexible part\-time schedule \+ work from home: 2\-3 days per week, approximately 3\-4 hours per visit. * Work with a growing food brand and learn about small business operations. * Opportunity to take on diverse tasks and grow within the company. **Key Responsibilities:** * Pack customer and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently. * Create shipping labels, ensure all items are appropriately labeled and securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. * Purchase and maintain sufficient stock of packaging materials. * Unpack large deliveries and organize inventory. * Maintain a clean and organized packing area. * Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and keeping accurate records. * Handle administrative tasks such as creating invoices in QuickBooks, email correspondence, manage Shopify store, and record\-keeping. * Support day\-to\-day projects as our company grows. **Qualifications:** * Physically able to lift boxes weighing up to 20 lbs (most packages are around 2\-5 lbs). * Proficient in computer usage and familiar with Google Docs. * Able to work independently and take initiative. * Attention to detail is a must. * Personable, friendly, and able to work well in a team. * Reliable and trustworthy. * Previous experience in shipping/food industry/social media is a plus. * Familiarity with Shopify backend operations is a plus. * Familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus. * Passionate about food and eager to contribute to our growth. **Job Type:** Part\-time **Benefits:** Employee discount and flexible schedule.
