Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.We're looking for a sharp, fast-moving engineer to build and maintain AI-powered tools for our operations team. You'll work directly with business stakeholders, turn feedback into shipped code within hours, and own full cycles - from scoping to deployment. Multiple releases per day is the norm, not the exception. This is a high-autonomy role. You'll get requirements directly from ops and business leads.What You'll Do:Build internal tools and automation workflows for the operations team using Cursor and n8nFix bugs and ship features in fast iterations - 3-4 production releases per dayDesign and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive operational tasks end-to-endIntegrate with third-party APIs and internal systems without handholdingOwn QA - test your releases against real business logic before pushingTalk directly with ops users and translate vague feedback into precise solutionsWhat You Bring:Cursor.ai / Other AI IDE -expert-level usage, this is your primary build toolN8N / Other Agentic Workflow tools -complex multi-step workflows, not just simple triggersOpenAI / LLM APIs — agents, tool use, structured outputs, prompt engineeringFull-stack: Node.js + React or equivalentPostgreSQL or similar relational databaseREST API design and third-party integrationsCloud deployment (Azure / AWS / GCP)Strong architecture instincts -you extend cleanly, never break existing systemsStrong security awareness - use emerging technologies but keep the system secure at the same timeNice to have:HubSpot APIMongoDBChrome extensionsplaywright / browser automationInternal ops tooling experienceRestaurant or logistics domain knowledgeWho you are:Strong architect who also ships fast — you don't sacrifice one for the otherYoung mindset: energized by speed, iteration, and direct ownershipExperienced working directly with non-technical stakeholders — no PM buffer neededAvailable and responsive beyond standard hours when production issues ariseBased in LATAM with full overlap with US business hours (EST / PST)You've built tools real teams use daily — not just side projects and demosRequested Technology & Equipment:Personal computer or laptop with up-to-date softwareHigh-speed internet connectionKeyboard, mouse, working webcam, and headset with a microphonePrimary 24” monitor (with an additional 24” monitor preferred)What We Offer:Strong & Competitive Compensation PackageFlexible Work Environment10 Paid Personal/Vacation Days5 Paid Sick DaysQuarterly Team Dinners & Events!The Opportunity to Build Something that Changes the Delivery Tech Industry for the Better!Sauce is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
