Graphic Designer (Independent Contractor)

Job title: Graphic DesignerWolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Design department. The Graphic Designer will be a key contributor in brainstorming, developing concepts and creating final designs for web and print within a collaborative team environment. Candidates must have a background and education in design, with a thorough understanding of and a passion for web and print design. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.ResponsibilitiesDesigning wireframes, website mockups and other related graphics for both desktop and print based on creative briefs and other materialsWorking closely with Wolfram’s development teams to pass detailed web specs along with final source artworkWorking on multiple projects simultaneouslyQualificationsProficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skillsDegree in graphic design or related fieldPrevious experience as a graphic designer, with a focus on web and print designAbility to work within a collaborative team environmentDiscipline to work independently with deadlinesKnowledge and experience in branding and marketing is a plusLocation: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor Reporting to: Design DirectorWolfram is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at its company.
