This role involves strategic leadership and direct management of a team with members in North America, Europe, and Asia. The primary goal of this role is to drive the product line’s vision, strategy and commercial success. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in power and natural gas markets in North America and Europe and will be responsible for overseeing the product lines growth and profitability, research and development, and roadmap, while staying abreast of market trends and competitive dynamics.Lead and manage a team of product managers and related staff ensuring development, mentoring and coaching of team members.Encourage a culture of customer focused collaboration and innovation.Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for the Insights products.Clearly define measurable goals for the products and measure performance against those goals.Manage Development BacklogBuild and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap defined by market demand, company strategy and competitor analysis.Communicate that roadmap both internally and externally.Monitor and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.Use industry trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy.Work closely with sales and marketing to define go-to-market strategy.Collaborate with customer success to ensure customer satisfaction.Monitor and measure product and feature adoption including onboarding, time to value, and NPS.Drive growth and revenue generation strategies and work closely with sales to execute.Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.Candidate Requirements & Qualifications10 years in the energy industry5 years in a leadership role5 years of product managementHigh level of numeracy, computer and web literacyHigh level of experience with use of PowerPoint, Excel & WordExperience with power systems software or software as a service/solutionKnowledge of technical software for data analysis, consulting and project experienceEnergy industry product managementExtensive experience with power and natural gas markets in North America, Europe, and AsiaStrong interpersonal presence and skills - demonstrated ability to build rapportProficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools such as MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelySelf-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on qualityAbility to manage multiple competing prioritiesSense of urgency for goal achievementStrong desire for personal and career advancementStrong product management skills including discovery/research and adoption analysisEnergy Exemplar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
