This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.About the roleThe Director of Sales Activation is responsible for driving efficiency, scalability, and velocity within our implementation processes, ensuring a seamless and high-impact onboarding experience. This metrics-driven leadership role focuses on consistently increasing the volume of successfully launched plans while optimizing resources and operational workflows.In this role, you will reimagine and refine sales activation strategies beyond traditional 401(k) implementation, identifying innovative ways to streamline processes and enhance automation. Leading a high-performing team, you will empower and support the Customer Onboarding teams and leaders, equipping them with the tools and frameworks needed to exceed performance metrics in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.As part of the broader Revenue organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping an integrated, frictionless customer experience - establishing onboarding as a core differentiator for Human Interest. Success in this role requires a data-driven mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for continuous improvement to scale operations efficiently while delivering exceptional client outcomes.What you get to do every dayWork closely with the Sales Activation Managers (SAM) to identify trends and strategies that will improve the onboarding timeline and experienceWork with / coach your team of SAMs to improve the quality and effectiveness of the 90-day onboarding process and launch ratesAssist in leading the onboarding support functions which includes setup, payroll connectivity, program management, quality assurance, and conversion onboardingStrategize and innovate scalable processes to drive higher volume of launched plansActively work with the Product and Integration teams to eliminate manual processes and continue to drive automation within the customer onboarding experienceScale the team by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline the onboarding processPartner with Revenue Enablement, Revenue Leadership, Customer Support Operations and other teams to enhance current onboarding communication, collaboration, and resolving customer escalationsClosely monitor key onboarding performance metrics and implement changes that will drive continual improvementPractice radical candor and performance management skills via overall people management to ensure alignment and growth of the organizationThis role will report into the Vice President of Sales Activation & ERISAWhat you bring to the roleYou must be results a driven, confident, and dynamic leader that can quickly make key decisions to adjust the organization to meet business needsAbility to effectively communicate across the organization while inspiring and motivating the team to perform at a high level13+ years of total experience with 5+ years of management in sales, customer implementation or related disciplines in a SaaS environmentDemonstrated success working with high volume metricsDemonstrated success meeting or exceeding monthly quota’sExperience in SaaS and ability to work in a fast paced tech environmentExcellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsBachelor’s degree in a related disciplineExperience evolving and optimizing people, processes, and toolsExpertise managing and overseeing large complicated accounts and projectsAbility to effectively facilitate change from executive level downExecutive-level communication with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflictStrong people and performance management experience Work closely with cross functional teams with a broad range of startup and enterprise experienceNice to haveExperience and/or knowledge in the 401(k) industrySales leadership experience 401(k) sales experienceWhy you will love working at Human InterestHuman Interest is tackling one of our country's biggest challenges - closing the retirement gap.
