This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through effective storytelling and meticulous research, ensuring our organization’s mission is fully supported by external funding sources. **Duties** * Conduct comprehensive research on potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors using databases and other resources such as Raiser's Edge. * Develop clear, persuasive, and technically sound grant proposals tailored to each funder’s guidelines and priorities. * Write detailed project descriptions, budgets, financial reports, and supporting documentation to strengthen grant applications. * Manage all aspects of contract management related to grants, including reviewing terms, compliance requirements, and renewal processes. * Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposal development and ensure alignment with organizational goals. * Proofread and edit proposals for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism before submission. * Maintain organized records of all grant activities in databases and tracking systems to monitor deadlines, reporting requirements, and outcomes. * Support strategic planning efforts by identifying new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities. **Skills** * Strong writing skills with expertise in proposal writing, technical writing, and editing to craft compelling narratives that resonate with funders. * Proficiency in researching funding opportunities using various databases and tools such as Raiser's Edge. * Experience in grant proposal writing, including developing budgets and financial reports that meet funder specifications. * Knowledge of contract management principles to oversee agreements from inception through renewal or closure. * Familiarity with fundraising strategies and program development to align proposals with organizational goals. * Excellent proofreading skills ensuring all documents are accurate and polished before submission. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong research skills to identify new opportunities for funding growth and sustainability.
