Job Description
Leading Japanese multinational automotive manufacturerResponsibilities:1.Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineering for ADAS and/or AD on system level according to ISO 26262Conduct FuSa Engineering according to ISO 26262 and OEM guideline. Create Item definition, safety plan and Impact analysis for successful review/assessment.Consolidate and maintain HARA analysis based on input (item definition) for successful review/assessment.Derive and maintain Functional Safety Concept (FSC) based on HARA for successful review/assessmentCreate system level requirement based on FSC; align with all relevant interfaces (e.g. System development, allocated Components)Conduct discussions with Other ECU stakeholders for implementing the FSC requirements.2.Support system development with concept development based on regulatory and legal restrictions.Support in concept evaluation from FuSa -Perspective3.Support project-related discussion about regulation/standards for ADAS/AD (FUSA perspective)4.Supplier ManagementSupport in DIA creation with supplier.Support customer to manage suppliers for functional safety implementation.Handle negotiations with suppliers for implementations.Manage supplier to ensure all functional safety requirements are implemented and verified.Requirements:Experience: Experience on FuSa Engineering of E/E systems according to ISO 26262Industrial experience in automotive industry OEM or supplierIdeally: development experience/ Internship of ADAS/AD systemWorking experience in global environment (Onsite/Offshore model)Specific Knowledge:Functional Safety certification is requiredExperience on Functional Safety according to ISO 26262, FuSa Engineering, FuSa Management up to ASIL DKnowledge about FuSa and QM methodology: HARA, FTA, DFA, FMEAFundamental knowledge about quality management, product development process in automobile industryEducation: Master in mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related fieldLanguage Skill:English Intermediate (Preferred to have TOEIC Level 600-700)Japanese Native OR JLPT N2 or aboveOriginally posted on Himalayas
