Job Description
We're seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners licensed in Maine AND other state(s) with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you'll deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions, while working closely with our provider and support teams. This is a great opportunity for a clinician with at least 3 years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings. This role requires an active RN compact license and licensure in multiple states. Ideal candidates will hold five or more active state licenses.Currently unable to consider candidates residing in the following states: CA, NY, GA, TN, IL, NV, MO, AL, SC, IN, MI, OR, MA, MS, AK, DC, HISchedule Options:Option 1: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Weekly shifts: Includes 8 hours of evening shifts per week.Weekend rotation: Required to work every 4th weekend (both Saturday & Sunday).Shift types: Day/evening shifts rotate every other weekend.3 holiday shifts required per calendar yearOption 2: Modified Full-Time (32 hours/week)Weekly shifts: Includes 8 hours of evening shifts per week.Weekend rotation: Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday).Shift types: Features a rotating mix of day and evening hours.2 holiday shifts required per calendar yearOption 3: Part Time (20 hours/week) Weekly shifts: shifts must be scheduled between 3p-11p PT/PSTWeekend rotation: Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday) scheduled between 3pm-11pm PT/PST2 holiday shifts required per calendar yearPlease Note: Shift scheduling is managed by our team (this is not a self-scheduling role), but we always do our best to take your personal preferences into consideration. Final hours and specific shift times will be confirmed a few weeks prior to your official start date.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirementsCurrent national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCCActive RN compact licenseActive multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settingsExperience providing care to newborns through adult populationsAbility to function within an integrated medical practiceStrong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditionsExcellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skillsProficiency with technology and electronic medical recordsMaintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programsResponsibilities: Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual examsEvaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespanOrder and interpret diagnostic tests as neededDevelop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate mannerManage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patientsRequest consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriateCounsel and educate patients and families on treatment plansMaintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based careProvide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab resultsOffer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekendsPreferred Qualifications: Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experienceExperience with Athena EMRFull-Time: 40hrs/wk min - $123,000/yr on average with guaranteed base + equity + benefits.
