You have strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium, and you're comfortable digging into complex codebases to understand what actually needs to be tested. You think strategically about coverage and efficiency, not just whether the tests pass. You've mentored other engineers, led quality initiatives, and communicate well across technical and non-technical lines.If you're passionate about quality as a discipline, not just a checkbox, and you want to work in an engineering culture that treats continuous improvement as a core value, come join us!On a regular basis you’ll be:Leading QA planning sessions for major features and releasesDesigning and implementing advanced test automation solutions using Playwright and TypeScriptConducting code reviews of test scripts and testing-related codePerforming complex system integration testing and analyzing overall test coverageCollaborating with development leads and product managers to integrate quality into the development processContributing to architectural discussions from a testing perspectiveMentoring junior QA engineers and guiding their growthAnalyzing quality metrics and driving continuous improvement in QA processes and toolingYou’re gonna crush it if:You have 5+ years of QA experience with demonstrated leadership and strategic planning experienceYou have experience leading testing efforts for complex, multi-component systemsYou've become familiar with the downsides of both under-engineering and over-engineering, and developed an appreciation for working pragmaticallyYou seek clarity, and as much simplicity as the underlying problem domain will allowYou have a track record of successfully mentoring team members and driving process improvementsYou can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersYou realize the real project work happens when the last 20% is being completed -- the handling of edge cases, errors, and interesting scenarios is where the real magic happensSome RequirementsStrong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and hands-on experience with Playwright or SeleniumDeep understanding of software testing methodologies and when to apply different testing techniquesExperience with performance testing and system integration testingAdvanced skills in test automation and continuous integrationStrong familiarity with SQL, browser dev tools, and web request tools (e.g. Postman)Comfort reviewing pull requests to identify risk areas and design targeted regression testsCompensation & BenefitsSalary - $145,000 - $185,000Premium Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage - options for you and your family, with 100% of premiums covered for some plans - well above industry benchmarks.Wellness/Mental Health - shared benefits to be used among employees and families Flexible Paid Time Off - allowing employees to find balance in their lives Stock options included.
