This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization while honing your skills in accounting, data analysis, and revenue cycle management. **Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and process invoices using billing software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, maintaining precise records through double entry bookkeeping and account analysis. * Collaborate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies via professional communication and negotiation, ensuring prompt resolution. * Manage collections accounts by following up on overdue payments and maintaining effective accounts receivable management practices. * Utilize Excel data analysis skills, including formulas and spreadsheets, to generate reports on billing activity, aging reports, and revenue cycle metrics. * Perform account reconciliation tasks regularly to verify data integrity across various accounting systems and financial software. * Support compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes\-Oxley Act) requirements during all financial processes. **Experience** * Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on invoicing, billing, or revenue cycle management. * Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; experience with medical billing or governmental accounting is a plus. * Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits \& credits, journal entries, CPT coding (for medical billing), ICD\-10 coding standards, and revenue recognition principles. * Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel formulas and perform Excel data analysis for reporting purposes. * Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for client communication and dispute resolution. * Knowledge of collections account management techniques and negotiation skills to optimize cash flow. * Ability to perform detailed data entry accurately at high speed (10 key typing) while maintaining attention to detail in a fast\-paced environment.
