You will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive project estimates while collaborating closely with project managers. Your work will directly impact project profitability, cost control, and overall bid success.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including retrofit and new construction workAnalyze blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to determine labor, materials, and time requirementsCollaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project scope, timelines, and goalsUtilize estimating software such as Accubid to develop accurate and competitive bidsMaintain organized documentation of estimates, revisions, and pricing communicationsEvaluate project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities during the estimating processManage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standardsMust-Have QualificationsProven experience in construction, electrical contracting, or electrical engineering environmentsExperience using estimating software such as AccubidStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in cost estimationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentationSolid understanding of cost control measures and pricing strategies within the construction industryKnowledge of construction site operations and project workflowsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyEffective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standardsPrior experience working in remote or distributed team environmentsOriginally posted on Himalayas
