your responsibilities and tasksAs a Technical Platform Consultant, you enable our customers to develop business-critical web applications using the Build.One platform. You will work very closely with senior management on customer projects to leverage the full power of the Build.One platform. Your role is pivotal as you ensure customer success, help define new product requirements, and interact with our teams in product management, software development, sales, and partners. You will understand our customers’ business cases and technical requirements and enable developers to implement individual custom solutions using our Build.One platform.You will guide and advise our customers on how to use Build.One and how to approach, set-up and plan software development projects.You will proactively develop ideas for solving customer problems and requirements by creating migration strategies, technical procedures, or product features.You will guide the customer, build trust, and ensure a professional service/ good customer experience.You will act as an advocate and expert for the capabilities and tools of the Build.One platform.As an expert in our product and customer requirements, you will share your customer knowledge and ideas with our product management, software development, sales, and partner teams.your profileExperienceYou have more than 5 years of professional experience in the software industry and already gained experience working in professional services or IT consulting.You have a computer science related university degree or a comparable technical education with profound know-how. Terms like object orientation, inheritance, function calls, and SQL statements are not new to you.Experience with B2B customers in the enterprise segment and from the SaaS/Cloud ecosystem is advantageous.CommunicationYou are an excellent communicator & listener: you can explain complex information to customers clearly and concisely.You can work cross-functionally with multiple Build.One teams to manage escalations, remove blockers, and ensure customers can adopt and maximize utilization of our platform.You can set-up projects, develop a milestone planning & align with different stakeholders.You speak and write German fluently and have excellent written and spoken English skills.A strong customer service orientation characterizes your working style.Tech skillsYou have good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, XML, JSON, REST APIs)You have experience in software development with a modern programming language (like JavaScript/TypeScript)Experiences in Progress OpenEdge and ABL are beneficial.You are used to supporting users with implementing new software via a ticketing tool.You have great presentation and documentation skills and technical web technologies, and API knowledge.our benefitsRemote first - You decide from where you work.
