Position SummaryThe Threat Intelligence Analyst is the senior member of Sibylline’s Threat Intelligence Unit (TIU), responsible for leading reporting efforts, managing analysts, and driving innovation in intelligence methodologies and tooling. The Lead Analyst will drive product development, client engagements, and contribute to strategic direction across the TIU.Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for leading high-quality intelligence outputs, managing tailored client requests, and supporting the development of standing and bespoke products and SOPs. This role requires working outside standard hours based on client needs, including up to a 24/7 schedule with flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and night shifts if required to support the broader team.Occasional travel to the office will also be required for training, events, or administrative purposes. Essential Functions / ResponsibilitiesOwns delivery of all TIU products to exceptional standards, ensuring editorial quality and timelinessLeads editing and proofing processes; mentors analysts on writing style, standards, and methodologiesDesigns and delivers advanced training on intelligence methodologies, structured analytic techniques, and technology platforms (e.g., ASTRA, visualisation tools)Oversees workload prioritisation and resource allocation across desks to meet SLAs and surge requirementsLeads product development and cross-desk innovation initiatives, integrating data-driven approachesManages tailored intelligence projects and client scoping calls; delivers high-impact presentations internally and externallyAct as a point of contact for media requests and represent Sibylline at external eventsProvides line management for Analysts and the Shift Lead Analysts, including coaching, performance reviews, and career developmentPartners with leadership on strategic planning, tooling roadmap, and capability building.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills for shaping high-quality intelligence productsDeep expertise in intelligence methodologies and experience leading training sessionsAbility to manage complex client requirements and cross-desk initiativesAdvanced proficiency in monitoring tools, visualisation platforms, and data manipulationStrong leadership and mentoring abilities with proven experience managing high-performing teamsSkilled in operational prioritisation and decision-making under pressure in 24/7 environmentsExperienced in client engagement, including executive-level briefings and strategic scopingFamiliarity with mass notification systems and social media monitoring toolsStrategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and cross-functional collaborationProven ability to lead editorial processes and develop team capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Security Studies, International Relations, War Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field; or equivalent professional experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in threat intelligence, geopolitical analysis, or security operations, including supervisory responsibilitiesAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
