We work with electric cooperatives, Main Street retailers, restaurants, service businesses, and the financial professionals who advise them. We're growing fast and we're looking for motivated, self\-directed sales professionals to grow with us. The Opportunity This is a 1099 independent contractor role with uncapped residual income. There is no base salary. What there is: a portfolio of merchant accounts that pays you every single month — as long as your clients process with Solvit, you earn. The best agents in the payments industry don't just earn a commission check. They build an asset. Here's what that looks like in practice: sign ten merchants who each process $30,000/month, and you're earning a meaningful monthly residual indefinitely — without making another sale. Add ten more, and that number doubles. Your portfolio grows at whatever pace fits your life, whether that's a few hours a week alongside an existing career or a full\-time push toward financial independence. This role is well\-suited for people who already have relationships with small business owners — bookkeepers, accountants, insurance agents, business consultants, financial advisors, and anyone else whose professional network is full of merchants who accept credit cards. It's equally well\-suited for someone with strong sales instincts and the drive to build something of their own, even with no payments industry background.
