Sr. Retail Business Consultant (Systems Implementation)

As part of that mission, we are disrupting the Retail Supply Chain and Merchandising with the most advanced and innovative offerings to date in this space.To support our aggressive growth, we are actively seeking talent (at multiple levels) to join our team.The Role:For the role of the Retail Business Consultant, our ideal candidate is a self-motivated and enthusiastic Retail Merchandising Professional (Planner, Buyers/Merchant, Analyst) who has a flair for technology and is passionate about the critical role technology can play in helping retailers remain competitive (and relevant) going forward.What You’ll Do:​Leverage business expertise and experience to advise customers on industry best practicesConduct and lead business process analysis and design sessions, including writing functional specificationsProvide primary user support and verify the system provides the required business functionalityPrepare and present presentations & product demonstrations for customers, prospects, executive level audiences, and internal audiencesCommunicate and partner with Product Management and Product Development teamsProvide Thought Leadership regarding industry trends and product direction; Be an authority in the industryServe as liaison to project manager, key customer contacts, including Executive SponsorsCompile and analyze quarterly performance reporting for customers RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:​Knowledge of Processes in Retail / Supply Chain including Merchandising/Buying, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Retail Analysis & Reporting, Retail Systems Analysis or other related experience2-5 years experience in Retail Merchandising or Retail consulting with a high level of demonstrated successExceptional communication skills (presentation and written)Exceptional organizational and analytical skillsFlexibility to travel up to 50% of the timeBA/BSExperience with Retail Systems support, administration, implementation, design and/or configuration a plusProject Management experience a plus BenefitsWhat’s in it for You?At S5, you will get an opportunity to truly innovate while working with some of the smartest brains in the industry to solve existing and emerging business problems.
