Our people aren't just part of our success—they're the reason for it. About the roleWe are looking forward 2-3 mid-level QA/UAT Testers to join our newly formed QA team. You will be embedded within product development pods, responsible for hands-on testing of features from development through user acceptance. This role is central to our quality strategy, which emphasizes developer, accountability, automation, and human validation at every stage of the pipeline. What You'll DoExecute manual and exploratory testing across assigned product podsPerform user acceptance testing (UAT) on new features and releases in staging and production-refresh environmentsRun post-deployment smoke tests in production to verify release healthCollaborate with Product Managers and developers to define acceptance criteria and test scenariosCreate, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plansIdentify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring clear reproduction stepsValidate bug fixes and regression scenarios prior to releaseParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviewsHelp build and refine QA processes, checklists, and standards as the department growsContribute test data requirements and assist with test data management across environmentsPartner with the engineering team to support the transition toward automated UI and API testingQualifications1-3 Years of Experience in Property Management Business Processes (Accounting, Maintenance, Leasing, etc)Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar)Comfortable testing web applications across browsers and devicesExperience working in agile / scrum environments embedded within development teamsSolid analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp attention to detailClear, professional communication skills for working across pods and with stakeholdersEven Better If You Have3–5 years of hands-on software QA or testing experienceStrong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologiesExperience writing and executing test plans, test cases, and regression suitesExperience in property management, real estate technology, or SaaS platformsExposure to API testing tools (Postman, REST clients) or basic automation frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflowsUnderstanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) concepts and feature flagsExperience with database queries (SQL) for test data validationWhat We OfferThe opportunity to help build a QA practice from the ground up at a growing companyDirect collaboration with product, engineering, and leadership teamsA culture that values quality, continuous improvement, and developer accountabilityCompetitive compensation and benefitsOriginally posted on Himalayas
