[8GS] Senior Data Engineer

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering team of one of our clients. This is a hands-on role focused on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and reporting across the organization.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines processing structured and unstructured data from multiple sourcesBuild and optimize data models and processing workflows to support BI, analytics, and reporting needsDevelop monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure pipeline performance and data qualityBuild insightful dashboards, reports, and datasets in DomoIntegrate data from external APIs and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce)Collaborate with Software Engineering, Architecture, Product, Analytics, and IT teamsTranslate business requirements into robust technical solutionsConduct code reviews and provide feedback to engineering team membersMentor other data engineers and contribute to onboarding effortsParticipate in Agile ceremonies including standups, retrospectives, and planningRequirements5+ years of experience developing and maintaining ELT/ETL systemsStrong proficiency in SQL — advanced queries, data modeling, stored procedures, query optimizationHands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQueryProficiency in PythonExperience with AWS cloud-native services (Kinesis, Lambda, S3, SQS, CDK)Experience building and maintaining data pipelines from diverse sourcesStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skillsStrong written and verbal English communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environmentNice to HaveExperience creating datasets, dataflows, and dashboards in DomoExperience building integrations with SaaS APIs such as SalesforceAWS Data Analytics Certification or Snowflake Data Engineering CertificationExperience with MongoDB or DynamoDBWe are accepting applications from LATAM countriesWe are Software Mind, an awesome team of engineers who are ready to ramp up any top-notch company’s projects!
