**Region:** Remote **Position:** Senior Technical Writer **Posted:** 06/30/2026 **Job Title:** Senior Technical Writer **FLSA Classification:** Exempt **Location:** Remote **Date:** 30 June 2026 Summary New Venture Research Corporation (NVRC) is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions supporting critical defense programs. We are seeking a senior\-level Technical Writer to prepare, review, and revise technical documentation in support of a variety of DoW programs, specifically supporting programs located at NSWC PC. This role will utilize technical expertise and knowledge of complex systems in order to appropriately convey research findings and pertinent data to meet the requirements set forth by DoW, program management office, programs/projects, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), quality control, and configuration management guidelines and policies. Collaboration and discussions with leadership, engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other support personnel will be required throughout the development of technical documentation to ensure accuracy, timely completion, and signature approvals. Key Responsibilities Comprehensively review, revise, draft, and archive technical documentation for military programs across Systems Engineering, RDT\&E, and Sustainment/Maintenance lifecycles. Apply specialized knowledge of military systems and acquisition lifecycles to all assigned documentation tasks. Research and cross\-check data specifications related to engineering changes, product obsolescence, technical integration, and logistics. Interpret complex program documents including CONOPS, CPDs, and SSSs to apply requirement tracing for validation and verification. Produce a wide range of technical artifacts including engineering evaluations, software change requests, SOPs, training guides, and white papers. Maintain reliable availability and proactive communication during business hours via phone, email, and online meetings in a remote environment. Monitor Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA\&M) to ensure rapid and effective task turnaround. Required Minimum Qualifications Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, engineers, and subject matter experts Familiarity with CUI, quality control, and configuration management guidelines Ability to interpret military program documents including CONOPS, CPD, and SSS Strong communication and organization skills tailored for a remote work environment Preferred Qualifications CompTIA Security\+ Certification Required Education and Length of Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communications, Communications (general), English, or related field 7\+ years of technical analyzation and writing in a DoW environment Travel Requirements T
